This collection of porcelain mosaics, manufactured by Winckelmans of France, is inspired by the colours, landscape, culture and lifestyle of the Cote d’Azur (a.k.a. the French Riviera). With one exception all the patterns in the collection are named after cities and towns in this region, the exception being “Matisse”, a long-time resident of Nice and, with Picasso, perhaps the most famous painter of the 20^th century. Matisse transformed the way we understand and use colour, so it seems only fitting that a range that takes its name from this magical area should acknowledge one of its most important residents.

The Winckelmans range of fully vitrified mosaics is extremely durable and resistant to frost, scratching, acid, moisture absorption and impact. They are rated well above the recommended professional standards and norms. The mosaics in this collection can be used inside and out, in wet or dry environments.

Winckelmans tiles and mosaics have been employed around the world – from luxury hotels and resort pools to castles, palaces, fast food restaurants, shopping malls, amusement parks, casinos, cathedrals, public buildings and private homes.
